Description

The Board serves as the central advisory body for historical records planning and for national historical publications and records commission funded projects developed and carried out in this state. The Board also serves as a coordinating body to facilitate cooperation among historical records repositories and other information agencies in this state and as a state-level review body for grant proposals as defined in the national historical publications and records commission guidelines.

Arizona Archives Summit

The Arizona Archives Summit is an annual event sponsored by the Arizona Historical Records Advisory Board. The event is an opportunity for archivists from all over the state to get together, network, and participate in professional presentations and discussions.

The next Arizona Archives Summit will be held in the Fall of 2024. Recordings from the 2023 Arizona Archives Summit are available through the Arizona Archives Alliance website: https://arizonaarchives.org.
