Military veterans, public servants, and Arizonans spanning generations came together at the Arizona Capitol Museum for an inspirational commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
Rear Admiral Gregory C. Horn (pictured right), was the Noontime Speakers' Series keynote speaker.
Arizona Secretary of State Ken Bennett (pictured left) concluded the program with an update on the plan to expand the World War II Memorial at Wesley Bolin Plaza Guns to Salute the Fallen.
As part of a new tradition the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community's memorial flag arrived at the Capitol by American Legion parade on motorcycle.
The flag had previously been flown over the USS Arizona memorial in Hawaii and was displayed in the Capitol rotunda with an honor guard.
