Arizona State Capitol Museum Guild
Arizona Capitol Museum Guild Update

President, Claire Nullmeyer
The Museum Guild has been in existence since January, 1992 when it received 501c3 non-profit status. It began as an arm of the Capitol Museum to promote volunteer participation and financial support. It continues to focus on activities which will assist the Museum Staff and serve the public in an inviting, informative and efficient manner. Membership is open to interested parties.
Claire Nullmeyer has been president of the Guild since 2006 and has a great vision for the organization. She hopes to see the Guild membership increase and thus, provide even greater service to the Museum and its programs. Activities completed during the past year included: sponsoring a pilot newsletter, leading tours, training new tour volunteers, hosting the December Tree Trimming party and socials following exhibit openings and other special events, working in the Museum Store, mailing communications to members, answering phones for special events and encouraging financial contributions to the Museum. Members also spread the work about Arizona's Great Treasure, The Capitol Museum.
This year, Guild members and other volunteers will also be welcoming visitors to the Museum as they enter the Rotunda as well as packing (unusual and interesting) artifacts in preparation for the move to the new Archives Building.
Membership is open to interested parties. A link to the Membership Form is accessible on the Guild homepage. If you wish to join, please print and send the completed form to: Arizona State Capitol Museum Guild, 1700 W. Washington St., Phoenix, AZ 85007. For other information call 602-926-3623.
