Centennial Commemoration of Arizona's Constitution
December 9, 2010
One hundred years ago, delegates adjourned Arizona’s Constitutional Convention. Officially completing the document that led to statehood in 1912.
To celebrate this event, the original Arizona Constitution was on display in the chamber where it was written.
The celebration included a presentation with Governor Brewer, Secretary of State Bennett, and Sate Historian Marshall Trimble. Read more about it in the Arizona Capitol Times.
The Museum also opened: We the People of Arizona, an exhibit about how Arizonans have changed the Constitution over the last 100 years.
Visitors experienced the constitution online.....
