The Polly Award - named after longtime state legislator, Polly Rosenbaum - recognizes a public official who has consistently shown support for the State Library. Assistant Secretary of State Jim Drake received the award in 2010.

Polly Rosenbaum Writing Contest Winners will be recognized, and will read their essays after the program in the Senate Chamber from 12:45 to 1:15 pm. The contest is open to students statewide in grades 7-12. This year’s theme is "Sustainable Communities: What That Means to Me and to Arizona."
