Janet Fisher Law and Research Library Division Director jfisher@lib.az.us Ms. Fisher received her Bachelor's degree from the University of New Mexico, her M.S. in Library Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and Master's in Public Administration from Arizona State University. She has worked in public libraries in Indiana and Texas and came to the agency in 1985 as Head of the Documents and Maps Section. Ms. Fisher became Assistant Director of the Research Division in 1991 and Director in 1998. She became Director of the Law and Research Library Division in 2001. Ms. Fisher has been active in the Arizona Library Association (AzLA) and American Library Association (ALA). She received the Bernadine Abbott Hoduski Founders Award from the ALA/Government Documents Round Table in 1998. Ms. Fisher also served on the Depository Library Council to the U.S. Public Printer from 1989-92, chairing that advisory council in 1992. Updated: 10/6/2003 |
