| Kimber Lanning, founder and Executive Director of Local First Arizona, will share her insights on building a movement around a BIG idea. When the recession threatened to devastate local businesses in 2007, Kimber brought the community together around a simple idea – that money spent with local companies provides greater benefits to the local community. Local First Arizona now has almost 2,200 business members, hosts numerous successful events, such as the sellout Devour Phoenix, and has won countless awards.
