Mission
  • To bring you updates on E-rate and help maximize your reimbursements
  • To increase you comfort level about Technology Planning
  • To focus on Internet politics, CIPA and Internet safety issues
  • To understand the national and state-level broadband initiatives and its impact on libraries
Who will this benefit?
  • Current applicants - to maximize your e-rate reimbursements
  • Non-applicants - to learn how you can do it and discuss roadblocks and benefits
  • To train other staff if your current staff is retiring/has retired/has other responsibilities
  • Day 2 of interest to Children's and Teen Library staff
Scholarships

Scholarships are available if you attend the entire seminar. The scholarship will cover your mileage, meals and hotel accomodation (1-2 nights depending on the distance to the Carnegie from your work place.)

Scholarships for local attendees (within 50 miles) covers mileage, meals not hotel.

Application for Scholarship

Your application must be postmarked, faxed or scanned and e-mailed by December 28, 2011.

They have been involved with ALA in drafting, critiquing, assisting and formulating responses to the rules and guidelines.
