SUMMER READING PROGRAMS

“Make a Splash – Read” and “Make Waves at Your Library”

Calling all Young Readers! Keep reading all summer long. It's not too late to catch the Summer Reading Program wave through The Arizona State Braille and Talking Book Library. Earn great prizes for all that summer reading.

graphic for Summer Reading ProgramThis summer's theme is all about that fun and wet stuff -- water. If you are in preschool through 6th grade, you may participate in the "Make a Splash -- Read" program; and Junior and Senior High students may participate in the "Make Waves at Your Library" program.

The program runs through July 23rd, 2010, and it's not too late to jump in. Please call Nicole at (602)255-5578 or email to sign up. For all those registered, don't forget to call, email or send Nicole your list of books, and you can choose your prizes.

Read three books to earn a prize. Books that qualify can be talking books or Braille books from the Braille and Talking Book Library, downloaded books, or books found at your local public library. When you’re ready to receive a prize – call, email or send Nicole your list of books that you’ve read. Be sure to let us know about those books that you’ve read that you really enjoyed.
