NICOLE LIND

We would like to introduce our newest member to the BTBL team. Nicole’s primary duties will be performing Reader Advisory for those patrons with last names beginning A-D. She will also be assisting our young readers. When asked to share some information so that we may get to know her better, Nicole stated:
“I am happy to be here; and I am having a good time getting to know the talking book library and my patrons. Prior to this, I was a Children’s Librarian for the City of Mesa Library, Red Mountain Branch. I received my degree in Library Science from the University of Arizona in 2002. My husband and I moved to Arizona twelve years ago from Chicago. We left and didn’t look back, we love living in Arizona and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. We have two daughters, ages 7 and 3, who keep us busy. In addition, I like to read (of course) when I have the time, and spend time outdoors. I love sports, I play slow-pitch softball on the weekends, and I like following the D-Backs, Suns, and Cardinals.”
Her co-workers are impressed by her work and she is learning her new job quickly. If you have the pleasure of talking with Nicole on the phone, please introduce yourself and make her feel welcomed.
