GREATER PHOENIX DIGITAL LIBRARY

There’s a new link on the library’s web site for quicker access to the downloadable materials from Greater Phoenix Digital Library. Go to www.lib.az.us/braille and select the link from the menu on the left side of the page. This takes you directly to a login screen to enter your user name and library card number. If you have high speed internet access on your computer but don’t have a library card number yet, call the library and we will email one to you.

Greater Phoenix Digital Library is proud to announce the addition of OverDrive MP3 audiobooks to the downloadable media collection! The OverDrive MP3 audiobook can be transferred to your iPod®, iPhone™, and iPod Touch as well as many MP3 players!

Additionally, in the interest of faster turnarounds and shorter waits, the checkout period for all formats of downloadable audiobooks is now 14 days. All other items in the Greater Phoenix Digital Library will continue to have a 21 day checkout. Other items available are ebooks (electronic text), eflicks (films & videos), and music all available for download at no cost to you.

The Greater Phoenix Digital Library offers more than 50,000 items in the multiple formats available. Titles are usually available within days of the print publication which gives BTBL patrons access to lots more titles than are available through the National Library Service.

The GPDL is a consortium of the public libraries in Maricopa County, plus Apache Junction and Casa Grande libraries, and the Arizona State Library. It is also the consortium with the highest circulation per month of any library system in the world! So join the thousands of other people who have discovered the great items available through this service.
