DOWNLOAD DIGITAL BOOKS

Patrons of the Talking Book Library throughout the state are eligible to participate in the Greater Phoenix Digital Library, which allows you to download audio books, e books, music and video to be played on your computer or transferred to an MP3 player or other compatible device.  The audio books come via a company called OverDrive and include best sellers and other popular reading materials.  If you would like to join the Greater Phoenix Digital Library just call the Talking Book Library and be prepared to provide your name, address, phone number and email address.  We in turn will issue a library card number for the Digital Library to you and provide directions for finding and accessing the audio books via email.  Users must have high speed internet access in order to download books, and you must provide your own MP3 player.  Please note that an IPod is not compatible with this particular format.  The directions we will send you include a list of compatible devices.  Some, but not all, of the books can be burned to a CD and the ebooks can be read by a screen reader.
