BLINDED VETERANS ASSOCIATION

The BVA, an advocacy group that traces its roots back to the end of World War II and is chartered by the U. S. Congress, is the only veterans’ service organization exclusively dedicated to serving America’s blind and visually impaired veterans. The BVA has offices in VA medical centers and outpatient clinics and links veterans with services, rehabilitation training, and other benefits. Veterans do not have to lose their vision during military service to qualify for BVA assistance and membership in BVA is not a prerequisite for any of its services. The organization receives no federal funding and is supported by contributions. There are two chapters of the BVA in Arizona. You may contact the Southern Arizona Regional Group at 520-792-1450 ext. 6672 or the Northern Arizona Regional Group at 602-277-5551 ext. 7776 or 2301.
