TALKING BOOK LIBRARY OPEN HOUSE

graphic of computerYou will soon receive an invitation to the Talking Book Library’s Open House that will be held here at the Library on Saturday, October 21, from 1 pm to 4 pm. This is an opportunity for you to meet your reader advisor and other staff members, tour the library, and learn more about our service. We will honor patrons who are 100 years old or better by inducting them into the National Library Service’s 102 Club, and we will demonstrate our new digital recording capabilities in the studio. Tours will be conducted throughout the afternoon and you will see how we get all those books, magazines and machines in and out the door every day. Light refreshments will be served. We have not held an open house since 1995 when we celebrated our 25th anniversary, and we are looking forward to seeing you at the Library on October 21.
