NEW DESCRIBED VIDEOS

graphic of video tapeThe Library has purchased several new described videos for our collection.   They are Batman Begins, a retelling of the popular comic-book superhero story; The Polar Express, a now-classic Christmas story; Cinderella Man, the story of boxer Jim Braddock during the Depression era;  The 40 Year Old Virgin, a comedy about a 40 year old man looking for true love; Fever Pitch, a romantic comedy starring Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore; Fantastic Four, a live action version of the classic comic book; Mr. and Mrs. Smith, an action thriller starring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt;  Herbie: Fully Loaded, the latest addition to the Love Bug story;  and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Roald Dahl’s classic children’s book brought again to the big screen and starring Johnny Depp.  Described videos have an added audio track that describes the action when there is no dialog to carry the story forward.  The Library has a collection of close to 300 described videos and you can find the complete list on our web site or you may request a catalog by calling the Library.
