FUNDRAISER THANKS
Arizona Friends of Talking Books held their second annual “Whine & Cheese” on September 29th at the University Club of Phoenix. Entertainment for the evening was by Double Play, a unique tuba and flute duo. It was a casual after work affair that included a huge silent auction of more than 100 donated items. Funds raised will go toward the conversion of the local recording studios to digital mastering, in preparation for the new digital audio books that patrons will begin receiving in 2008. The evening was a great success thanks to the Friends’ board of directors and the many donors.
