New Staff Member

Catherine Coughlin, the Library’s new Public Relations Specialist, joined the staff on July 18. Catherine came to us from Arizona Highways, where she served as their Public Information Officer for the past eight years. Earlier in her career she was Production Director for the inflight magazines of several major airlines.

Catherine wants to let all Arizonans know about the Library, especially those who are eligible for our services but may not know that we even exist. She thinks the best time to learn about our service is before it’s needed, not after. She’s already hard at work making contacts that will help spread the word.

Originally from the New York/New Jersey area but now a nineteen year resident of Arizona, Catherine lives in Phoenix with her rag doll cat Marcel and likes to read, garden, and make the occasional escape to a beach to renew her spirit.
