HELP FOR
ONLINE CATALOG USERS

Perkins Braille and Talking Book Library, the library for the blind and visually impaired in Massachusetts, has developed an accessible online course to help patrons learn to use their online catalog. Since their catalog is exactly like ours, you can take advantage of this free learning experience. You just have to remember that you use Arizona’s online catalog not Massachusetts’ catalog.

The course was developed in collaboration with the Carroll Center for the Blind and they have generously offered to share it with other libraries like ours who use the Keystone Library Automation System. To take the free online course, log on to www.carrolltech.org/classes/opac. Remember, though, that when the instructions refer to Massachusett’s online catalog, you need to use Arizona’s catalog at http://www.lib.az.us/braille/ or http://klasweb.lib.az.us/klasweb.
