Great Decisions 2006

Teams of volunteers will be working hard during January to record Great Decisions for our patrons and patrons of other regional libraries across the nation.  Great Decisions, a publication of the Foreign Policy Association, explores eight topics of international interest, and discussion groups meet weekly starting in February to discuss those topics.  The articles are interesting even if you do not participate in a discussion group.  The Library treats Great Decisions as a magazine subscription so if you received it last year, you will automatically get a copy this year.  If you have not subscribed, then call the library   The topics for 2006 are UN Reform; The U. S. and Iran; Energy; Brazil; China and India: Partners or Competitors?; Human Rights in the Age of Terrorism; Turkey; and Pandemics and Security.
