STATE ACTIVITIES

Arizona Book Festival

The Arizona Book Festival was held on Saturday, April 14, 2007. Presented by the Arizona Humanities Council with sponsorship by the Arizona State Library, Archives and Public Records, the festival took place on the grounds of the Carnegie Center, home to the Arizona Center for the Book. Book lovers from around the state attended the free, family event. There was something for everyone - activities for children, book talks, lectures, storytelling, storybook characters, book appraisers, signings by local and national authors, booksellers, and live performances and demonstrations.
