One Book. One Month. One Goal.
ONE BOOKAZ celebrates reading in Arizona by encouraging communities across the state to read the same book and participate in discussion and programs centered on that book during the month of April.
ONEBOOKAZ through various events, aims to nurture partnerships between libraries, schools, museums, other allied institutions, the media, commercial vendors, the authors and the public.
ONE BOOKAZ brings people together through book discussions, author reading and signing events, panel discussions, traveling presentations, and special events in conjunction with archives, museums, and libraries to further explore the facts and themes of these books.
ONE BOOKAZ fosters a sense of community through the shared experience of reading the same book, discussing themes and involving participants in the various events connected with the books.

One Book. One Month. One Goal.
ONEBOOKAZ for Kids is an exciting program hosted by libraries and other partners across the state. It encourages children across the State of Arizona to read the same book and participate in discussions and programs centered on that book during the month of April. The goals of the project are:
- To encourage reading and enhance the joy of reading or being read to;
- To raise awareness about issues and themes in the book through discussions; and
- To raise awareness about libraries and nurture partnerships between libraries and schools and other institutions.
