Government RecordsApache CountyApache County was created February 14, 1879 from parts of Yavapai and Maricopa Counties. St. Johns was named the county seat. Originally, the county included the areas which later became Navaho County and portions of Gila and Graham counties.
*Divorce records are found in several record groups, including the Territorial Legislature and Superior Courts. **Naturalization is administered by Federal District Courts. Before
1920, federal courts delegated this responsibility to various state
and county courts. |
