Biographical Note

John Pritzlaff served as a Republican from District 24, Phoenix, in the House of Representatives from 1963-1969 and in the Senate from 1975-1982. As a Representative John Pritzlaff served as a Member of Committees on Appropriations; Rules; State Government; Ways & Means; Joint Legislative Budget Committee; and Chairman of Committee of the Whole. As a Senator John Pritzlaff served as Chairman of the Appropriations Committee and the Committees on: Agriculture; Education; Heath, Welfare and Aging; Joint Legislative Budget, Chairman 1982; Joint Legislative Tax; Joint Legislative Oversight Committee for the Division of  Behavioral  Health Services; Board of Library, Archives and Public Records; Education Commission; and the Legislative Council Education Committee. Before his political career Senator Pritzlaff attended Princeton University graduating with a Bachelors Degree in the year 1949.
