Finding Aids and Inventories in the
Arizona State Archives

The Arizona State Archives maintains collections from state, county and local government offices, boards and commissions as well as collections from private citizens and non-governmental groups.

Our governmental collections are divided in to record groups (RGs).  These records help document the official actions of state, county and local government officials and offices

Our private collections are divided in to manuscript groups (MGs).  These records help document the private lives and accomplishments of people and organizations in Arizona.

We have posted some of our finding aids and indexes to our website please visit our list of government collections and our list  of private collections .  Many of our finding aids are not posted to our page, so if you do not find a link to the finding aid or index you wish to access please contact us at (602) 926-3720 or email us.

We are always adding new finding aids so, please visit us again later to see what we have added to our webpage.
