Arizona Archives Summit
The Arizona Archives Summit is a multi-year project to develop a statewide collaborative model of collection management practices. The Summit brings together representatives from archives, historical societies, museums and libraries from around Arizona.
Our goal is to preserve and make accessible Arizona's historical records by working together to: collect under-documented communities and subjects; decrease backlogs; move out-of-scope collections to more appropriate repositories; and reunite split collections.
The Arizona Archives Summit is funded by the Arizona Historical Records Advisory Board through and NHPRC SNAP (National Historic Publications and Records Commisson, State and National Archival Program) grant.
